1) Shatamanam Bhavati: Dil Raju's master strategy of pitting a family drama against two big ticket films during festive period has worked wonders for Shatamanam Bhavati.

It has collected over Rs. 25 crore share in two weeks and is still going great guns at the box office. Festive theme and the family emotions seem to strike the chord with the target audience.

2) Khaidi No. 150: Megastar couldn’t have dreamed of a better comeback than this one. Khaidi No. 150 is on the brink of entering the Rs. 100 cr share club.

Khaidi made maximum use of the Sankranthi festive season and continued to rake in moolah even after that.

3) Raees: Although Raees is unable to create sensation like blockbusters Sultan or Dangal, it is certainly faring better than Shahrukh Khan’s recent duds. However the real test begins from Monday as the film still needs to recover a lot from its theatricals.

4) Gautamiputra Satakarni: Historical epic Gautamiputra Satkarni failed to capitalize on its bright start. Thanks to its first week collections, Gautamiputra Satakarni achieved hit status despite its poor show after the initial blast.

It is not easy to make a fiction film based on history but Krish and Balakrishna have successfully pulled it off.

5) Luckunnodu: Luck didn’t favor Manchu Vishnu again. It has been a while since Vishnu scored a solo success. Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam, Vishnu’s last film with Raj Tarun was a hit, but Luckunnodu failed to attract audience.

The film’s first day collections were poor despite a holiday release and will go down as another failure for the Manchu hero.
